It has a security system with built-in emergency call buttons in various places throughout the home. This is a premium "end unit" with (very quiet) neighbors on only one side. In fact the entire complex is extremely quiet. This is definitely not a "party" environment. There are very large mature trees that create a less urban atmosphere than one would expect to find only ten minutes from The Strip and fifteen minutes from McCarran International Airport. Because the entire complex sets well back from the main thoroughfare of Valley View Blvd., the city noises of Las Vegas do not intrude into the peaceful ambiance experienced by Quail residents. In the years my mom lived there I never heard of any instances of crime activity within Quail Estates. An exercise circuit along with the clubhouse and pool help create a healthy and relaxed environment for quiet living. A monthly newsletter keeps residents informed of affairs and activities. The complex is well managed and well maintained. This townhome has never been smoked in. I don't recall ever locking my car when visiting and in summer I leave the car windows down, day and night. This says something about how concerned I am regarding theft in the Quail environment. I wouldn't do that anywhere else in Las Vegas. This townhome is located within a safe, quiet community. Access is through a 24-hour manned, gated guard station with active security - not simply a remote controlled drop gate next to an empty guard shack, as with many supposedly gated communities in Las Vegas. This is a luxuriously fitted-out advantageously located townhome within a secure, aesthetically very pleasing environment. Extremely quiet and safe environment yet only ten minutes away from The Strip and fifteen from the airport. Very handicapped accessible. This is the largest floor plan available within Quail Estates West and very few were built with the third bedroom. This would make an excellent assisted living home as a live-in nurse would enjoy the roomy and luxurious environment. Nevada's best rated hospital - University Medical Center - is ten minutes away on Charleston. The complex is well-maintained and well-managed. A monthly newsletter keeps residents up-to-date regarding activities and affairs of the complex.
