About Me

I have worked mostly with buyers, finding just the right home in the right area. Excellent communication and negotiation are essential to getting the most for your money. When I take listings, it is usually from referrals or buyers I am already working with. I know how to sell a listing because I know the buyer's mindset. I hold open houses throughout the valley almost every weekend, where I am constantly talking to perspective buyers.

My Qualifications

14 years in the business. I got licensed in 2005 when I wanted to buy some investments properties. For about five years, I bought homes to renovate. For the last 10 years I have been working mostly as a buyer's agent. I love the hunt for the perfect home and take it on as if I were looking for myself or my family. Before I take a listing, I advise the seller to consider all their options. Sometimes the offer they can get from OpenDoor or some of the other companies is a viable option. I then explain what I honestly think I can sell their home for, so there are no surprises.

My Background

Born and raised in Boston, I attended college in Utah and Oregon, and spent 2 years in Brazil. I have been in Phoenix since 2001. I am "The Hiking Realtor" or "Camelback Shirpa" as they dubbed me on Arizona family Evening news twice this last month. I hike at the hottest part of the day handing out water to other hikers in need.
